James Appleby is a poet and translator. Commended in the 2021 McLellan Poetry Competition, his recent publications include Poetry Scotland, Acumen and Northwords Now. He is the editor of Interpret, a magazine of new international writing.
James' working languages are French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. Born in Manchester, he is currently based in Edinburgh.
