James is the editor of Interpret, Scotland's new magazine of international writing.

 

Interpret showcases new Scottish writing alongside leading international writers. Authors featured in Interpret include winners of the International Booker Prize, the King's Gold Medal for Poetry, and the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award.

The latest issue, Interpret 9, includes new writing from Eritrea, Belarus, and Ethiopia, with new translations of Yves Bonnefoy, France's most decorated post-war poet.
