James is the editor of Interpret, Scotland's new magazine of international writing.

 

Interpret showcases new Scottish writing alongside leading international writers. Authors featured in Interpret include winners of the International Booker Prize, the King's Gold Medal for Poetry, and the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award.

The latest issue, Interpret 10, includes new writing from Serhiy Zhadan, Ukraine's leading contemporaro poet, and an interview with Samanta Schweblin, winner of the US National Book Award for Translated Literature.
