James is the editor of Interpret, a new magazine of international writing.

 

Interpret showcases leading international writers from 60 countries in 40 languages. Authors include winners of the Booker Prize, International Booker Prize, the King's Gold Medal for Poetry, the US National Book Award for Translated Literature, and many writers receiving their first ever publications in English translation.

The latest issue, Interpret 14, features Simon Armitage and Ben Okri, with new poetry in Sanskrit, Spanish, Japanese, French, and more.
